Hello, it's Chrissie :-)
Thank you for helping us get to more than 1/2 way to our goal in just one week!
We are cruising along and hoping in this next week we will be fully funded and can get cranking on getting this book printed and in your mailboxes!
As a little "thank you" for helping us get this far, I'm sharing a story (below) about an amazing serendipitous experience that inspired the creation of Love Is Project and in turn—this book, The Greatest Love Story Ever told.
If YOU are inspired to keep spreading the word to get us to our goal we would really appreciate it! Here’s the link to the Kickstarter campaign: bit.ly/LIPBookofLove
Thank you again!
xChrissie

In 2014, while traveling for Love Is Project's photo project, Zissou, one of my dear friends from Bali, introduced me to his neighbor Eiji, a Japanese filmmaker responsible for the "Happy" documentary. During that trip to Bali I profiled Eiji in the Love Is Project photo project.
Later, In a serendipitous, small world moment, I noticed a vintage photo of my new friend, Eiji, with a group of teens tagged on Facebook. Scanning over the other faces, I recognized a caption with the name, Dan Eldon. Dan was a young photojournalist who moved to Kenya when he was just seven years old, and was killed in 1993 in Somalia. Unbeknownst to me, Eiji was one of Dan's best friends and he had traveled with him. Dan Eldon's journal "The Journey is the Destination" served as a huge inspiration for me since college.
Eiji and Dan's project inspired me to go to Kenya, which in turn, inspired the creation of the #loveisproject... allowing me to serendipitously meet & profile Eiji 25 years later. Everything definitely happens for a reason! :-)
